CHICAGO – Cicero parents allege a school bus company left their twin hearing-impaired sons at an incorrect address.

Angel Mendoza and Antonia Mendoza on behalf of minors, John Doe and James Doe, filed a complaint on Nov. 21 in Cook County Circuit Court against Hinsdale Township High School, District 86 and Lakeview Bus Lines,   alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that their sons were incorrectly dropped off by their bus to their former address. They allege that their sons, who are hearing impaired, attempted to communicate with their aide that the address was incorrect, but were instructed to get off the bus anyway. The plaintiffs allege the defendants breached a duty of ordinary care to the boys.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants for compensatory damages. They are represented by attorney Gerardo S. Gutierrez, of Chicago.
