CHICAGO — A married couple's lawsuit against Emil Zager, D.P.M., and Foot & Ankle Associates Ltd., alleges negligence in podiatric care.

Carrie Didier and Michael Didier filed a complaint on Dec. 7 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper care to Carrie Didier.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege Didier developed complex regional pain syndrome after foot pain was treated with a combination of casting and bed rest. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly diagnose Didier's condition and provide the necessary treatment.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. They are represented by Brian Murphy of Hofeld and Schaffner in Chicago.
