Manorcare Health Services - South Holland accused of shortcoming in care

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Manorcare Health Services - South Holland, alleging negligence in nursing home care.

Alice Riles filed a complaint on Dec. 21 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendant, alleging the nursing facility failed to provide her with proper care.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered from the development of pressure ulcers, which were the result of the defendant's alleged failure to provide adequate supervision to avoid the ulcers.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000, plus court costs. She is represented by Steve M. Levin and Megan M. Shore of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
