CHICAGO — A married couple's lawsuit against several medical providers alleges they failed to properly diagnose a man's health condition.

Gary Wilson and Therese Wilson filed a complaint on Dec. 21, in the Cook County Circuit Court against a group of defendants, including Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center; Presence Health Partners, LLC; PMG Lockport and Presence Medical Group; Vinitha Kunchala, M.D.; Emergency Medicine Physicians of Will County, LLC; Timothy Sturgill, M.D.; Joliet Radiological Service Corporation; and Robert Boyd, M.D., alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care to Gary Wilson.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege Wilson sought treatment for left leg weakness and was not properly diagnosed. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible for an alleged failure to properly interpret and communicate regarding an MRI indicating significant other medical problems.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. They are represented by Aaron D. Boeder of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard, P.C. in Chicago.
