CHICAGO — A woman is suing Page Security Inc. and an unidentified employee of the security company, alleging battery, negligence and negligent hiring and supervision.

Myrna Torres-Avila filed a complaint on Dec. 30 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that guard John Doe caused injuries to the plaintiff while ejecting her from a Chicago apartment building.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 2, she was forced out of a door, causing her to fall and suffer a wrist fracture, bruises, contusions and pain. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible, alleging that she did nothing to provoke the incident.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Nicholas Kreitman of Gainsberg Law, P.C. in Chicago.
