CHICAGO — A married couple's lawsuit against Family Medical Center of Lagrange Ltd.; Michael Dupont, M.D.; Deborah Sleeper, PA; Scott Robertson, D.O.; and Daniel Chen, D.O., alleges the medical professionals and facilities should be held responsible for alleging diagnosing a man's prostate cancer too slowly.
Steven Wolf and Barbara Wolf filed a complaint on Jan. 13 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging Wolf has suffered physical injuries and faces future pain and suffering from the late diagnosis of his prostate cancer. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to perform procedures that would have led to a timely diagnosis of cancer.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. They are represented by Joseph A. Power Jr. and Joseph W. Balesteri of Power Rogers & Smith, LLP in Chicago.
