CHICAGO — An employee of a construction subcontractor is suing SR&J Construction Inc. and JCF Real Estate Inc., alleging negligence in connection with a fall from a walkway.

Zenon Krupa filed a complaint on Jan. 17 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging they failed to maintain a proper walkway to ensure the safety of workers at a construction site.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he suffered physical injuries in February 2016 when a walkway collapsed, causing him to fall. He alleged the defendants failed to properly maintain and inspect the walkway.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Richard N. Rosenberg of Rosenberg, Eisenberg & Associates LLC in Arlington Heights.
