Trinity Health accused of negligence in woman's care

CHICAGO — A disabled woman's family is suing Trinity Health Corporation, alleging negligence in medical care.

George Dillon, as guardian of Anne Dillon, filed a complaint on Jan. 26 in Cook County Circuit Court against Trinity Health, alleging the hospital failed to provide proper care to Anne Dillon.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Dillon fell, striking her head and resulting in a subdural hematoma. The plaintiff alleges Trinity Health failed to provide adequate supervision to Anne Dillon in order to prevent her from falling after she was transferred from intensive care to a regular floor.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Joseph A. Power, Jr. and Devon C. Bruce of Power, Rogers & Smith in Chicago.
