CHICAGO — A patient is suing The University of Chicago Medical Center, alleging medical malpractice.
Krystal Harris filed a complaint on Jan. 30 in Cook County Circuit Court against The University of Chicago Medical Center, alleging that the hospital failed to properly perform a tubal ligation.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she became pregnant after undergoing a tubal ligation procedure, when she was told the procedure would prevent pregnancy.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Craig M. Sandberg of Muslin & Sandberg in Chicago.
