CHICAGO — A woman is suing Five Star LLC and MSP1 Investigation Corporation, alleging battery and negligence, after a security guard allegedly stabbed her with a knife.
Katanna Williams filed a complaint on Jan. 26 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants. She alleges that on Jan. 20, she sustained injuries from being stabbed by a security guard at her apartment complex. The plaintiff holds the companies responsible for allegedly failing to properly supervise the guard and for negligent hiring.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000, plus court costs. She is represented by Jeffrey S. Deutschman and Bradley A. Skafish of Deutschman & Associates, PC in Chicago.
