CHICAGO — A husband and wife are suing Justin Gent, M.D., and McHenry County Orthopaedics, S.C./Centegra Physician Care, alleging negligence in medical care.

Marzena Kulesza and Voytek Kulesza filed a complaint on Feb. 1 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care to Marzena Kulesza.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege Kulesza suffered an infection in her left shoulder after surgery. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to diagnose and provide proper treatment for Kulesza's shoulder infection.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. They are represented by Robert F. Geimer of Tomasik Kotin Kasseman, LLC in Chicago.
