Native Foods Holding Corporation blamed for flying table umbrella

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Native Foods Holding Corporation and Nick Davulto, alleging negligence in connection with a table umbrella blown by the wind.

Patricia Albertini filed a complaint on Feb. 10 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging they failed to properly secure the table umbrellas outside their establishment while the weather was windy.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on November 5, 2015, she sustained physical injuries when she was struck by a table umbrella that was picked up by the wind. 

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000, plus court costs. She is represented by Douglas C. Dorn, P.C. in Chicago.
