CHICAGO — Two men are suing Golden Real Estate Partners of Illinois LLC, which does business as The Quarters Apartments, and Napro Management Ltd., alleging negligence and premises liability in connection with an alleged fall down a stairway.

Victoria Sammarco and Frank Indoranto filed a complaint on Feb. 10 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging they failed to keep the property reasonably safe for their apartment residents.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Feb. 23, 2016, Sammarco and Indoranto sustained physical injuries when they fell down steps. They alleged the fall was caused by a defective railing.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000, plus court costs. They are represented by Larry Karchmar of Karchmar & Stone in Chicago.
