CHICAGO — A patient is suing her doctor, claiming she was injured while undergoing hip surgery.
Barbara Brzostowska filed a complaint on Feb. 8 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Dr. Dennis Mess alleging that the physician failed to provide proper medical care to the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, Brzostowska alleges that she sustained physical injuries during a hip surgery at Illinois Masonic Hospital that needed additional surgery to correct.
Brzostowska seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court plus court costs. She is represented by Timothy J. Ashe and Kristina K. Green of Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz in Chicago.
