CHICAGO — A patient is suing MacNeal Physicians Group LLC, which does business as Chicago Health Medical Group; MacNeal Hospital; and Otto K. Lee, M.D., alleging negligence in medial care.
Robert Roeback filed a complaint on Feb. 9, in the Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care to the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages due to a late diagnosis of cancer. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to recognize the symptoms of his cancer, allowing a tumor to spread.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Joseph W. Balesteri of Power Rogers & Smith, LLP in Chicago.
