CHICAGO — A Cook County woman is suing an Olympia Fields physicians group, alleging negligence led to her being injured by a door.

Ann L. Fitzgerald filed a complaint Feb. 21 in Cook County Circuit Court against Physician Partnership of Dr. Robert M. Aronson, Ravi K. Sundaram and Dr. Bradley S. Coolidge, doing business as Prairie State Pulmonary & Sleep Consultants, and Tiffany Sturdivant, alleging failure to keep their premises reasonably safe for business invitees.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 18, 2015, Fitzgerald was struck by a door at Prairie State Pulmonary & Sleep Consultants in Olympia Fields. The suit says Fitzgerald fell backward and suffered a lumbar spinal compression fracture.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to check the hinge of the door on their property to prevent any accident.

Fitzgerald seeks judgment of more than $50,000 and any further relief the court grants. She is represented by attorney Theodore L. Stacy of Valparaiso, Ind.
