Pine Crest Health Care allegedly failed to provide adequate care to patient

Medical malpractice 08

CHICAGO — The representative of a patient is suing Pine Crest Health Care LLC, Atied Associates LLC, Premier Healthcare & Financial Services Inc., Icare Consulting Services LLC, Jeffrey Webster, Shimon Webster, Howard Wengrow and Yeruchom Levovitz for allegedly taking insufficient measures to provide adequate medical care to the patient.

Stephanie Robinson, agent for Julia McClain, filed a lawsuit on March 3 in the Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that the facility and its staff failed to provide proper care to McClain, who suffers from morbid obesity, diabetes, hypertension and other medical conditions, according to the complaint.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she experienced pain after suffering a fall and developing pressure ulcers. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to supervise McClain, address her risk of falling and monitor the development of pressure ulcers.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount sufficient to satisfy the jurisdictional limits of this court. She is represented by Michael Silverman of Horwitz, Horwitz and Associates Ltd. in Chicago.
