Hibachi Seafood Buffet allegedly failed to fix defective stove, protect worker

CHICAGO — A Chicago man is suing Li Yun Huang and Hibachi Seafood Buffet H&Z Incorporated, which does business as All Style Buffet, alleging that insufficient measures were taken to prevent him from being burned by a stove.

Emmanuel Camacho-Feliciano filed a complaint on March 3 in Cook County Circuit Court alleging the defendants failed to properly maintain a stove on their property.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he was burned by a defective stove on March 6, 2015. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to fix the defective stove.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000, plus court costs. He is represented by Paul G. O'Toole of Salvato O'Toole & Froylan in Chicago.
