CHICAGO — A Chicago woman is suing podiatrist Martin Yorath, Union Health Service Inc. and Rosalind Franklin Health System/Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, alleging that insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries.
Rae Schiff filed a lawsuit pro se on March 7 in Cook County Circuit Court alleging the defendants subjected her to several unnecessary surgeries. The plaintiff alleges the defendants gouged portions of her talus, tibia, fibula and left ankle cartilage, resulting in the need for several surgeries.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000, plus court costs.
