CHICAGO — A deceased patient's family is suing Manor Care of Palos Heights, a nursing facility, for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent the patient from developing pressure sores.
Diane McClintock, special administrator for the estate of Dennis McClintock, filed a lawsuit on March 23 in the Cook County Circuit Court alleging the nursing facility failed to provide Dennis McClintock with proper medical care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges the patient experienced pain caused by pressure sores. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise and assist McClintock to prevent pressure sores.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by David W. Martay of Martay Law Office in Chicago.
