CHICAGO — An ironworker is suing Power Construction Company LLC and Concrete Structures of the Midwest Inc. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent him from twisting his knee at a construction site.

Patrick Brennan filed a lawsuit on March 28 in Cook County Circuit Court alleging the defendants failed to inspect and ensure the premises were reasonably safe for workers.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he sustained physical injuries on March 31, 2015, when he twisted his knee on the property. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to provide a safe area for the plaintiff and his co-workers.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount sufficient to satisfy the jurisdictional limits of the court and any further relief it grants plus court costs. He is represented by Daniel V. O'Connor of O'Connor & Nakos Ltd. in Chicago.
