CHICAGO — A former patient is suing dentist Craig A. Spencer and Brookside Dental Care Ltd. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent him from suffering injuries after undergoing mouth restorations.
Joaquim Martinez filed a lawsuit on April 4 in Cook County Circuit Court alleging the defendant failed to provide him with proper dental care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he experienced pain and was unable to chew after undergoing multiple restorations in the upper portion of his mouth. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to take full X-rays of his mouth before proceeding with the procedures.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus any further relief the court grants. He is represented by the Law Offices of Mark P. Loftus in Chicago.
