CHICAGO — An attorney for a well-known Chicago radio personality is suing Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and senior manager Shelley Bergman, citing defamation for allegedly encouraging his client to cut ties with him.

Michael J. Young, of Westchester, filed a complaint on April 11 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging they made defamatory statements against the plaintiff to get his client, radio personality Erich "Mancow" Muller, to stop using his services.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he sustained damages to his reputation.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, exemplary damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is representing himself in the matter.
