CHICAGO — A woman is suing Aperion Care Dolton; Yam Management; and related entities and associated individuals, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence on behalf of her deceased relative.

Monique Brown, the administrator of the estate of Ronald Brown, filed a complaint on April 10 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging they failed to provide proper care to Ronald Brown.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Brown experienced pain after developing pressure ulcers and skin breakdowns. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision and assistance to Brown to prevent the development of pressure ulcers.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Terrence E. Davey of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C in Chicago.
