CHICAGO — A man is suing Pop's Pizza & Pub Inc., Rafidia Development LLC and Munir G. Rafidia, pub owner, as well as two other men, who were alleged attackers, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.

John M. Tracey filed a complaint on April 17 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendant restaurant, of Roselle, and owner alleging they failed to keep their premises reasonably safe.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, on April 17, 2016, he sustained physical injuries from being physically attacked. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the restaurant allegedly failed to provide adequate security to prevent the alleged attackers from striking the plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than the jurisdictional limits of this court. He is represented by Michael L. Gallagher of Burke Wise Morrissey & Kaveny LLC in Chicago.
