CHICAGO — A man is suing Northwestern University Lake Forest Hospital, Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation and four doctors, alleging a missed diagnosis led to his relative's death.

Barry D. Goldberg, independent executor of the estate of Barth H. Goldberg, filed a complaint on April 25 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging they failed to provide proper medical care to Barth Goldberg. Gaurav Chaturvedi M.D., Anub Abraham M.D., Steven Hodges M.D. and Ian Katznelson M.D. are the individuals named in the suit.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Goldberg sustained serious physical injuries from the missed diagnosis. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to properly diagnose a vascular condition and provide the proper treatment to Goldberg, leading to his death.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by the Law Offices of Keith L. Davidson in Chicago.
