CHICAGO — A patient is suing Alden-Long Grove Rehabilitation and Health Care Center and related entities, claiming the nursing home was negligent in his care.

David Huff filed a complaint on April 25 in Cook County Circuit Court against the nursing home alleging it failed to provide proper care to the plaintiff and address his risk of falling.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he sustained physical and psychological injuries from suffering a fall. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the facility allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision and assistance to the plaintiff to prevent the fall; the plaintiff has mobility issues due to health conditions and medications he takes.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Michael J. Eisenberg of Rosenberg, Eisenberg & Associates LLC in Arlington Heights.
