CHICAGO — An administrator is suing Alden Valley Ridge Rehab & Health Care Center, and related entities; Amita Health Adventists Glenoaks Hospital; and William J. Pankau M.D., citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.

Kenneth Kuzma, as independent administrator for the estate of Eleanor Marie Kuzma, filed a complaint on April 25 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging they failed to provide proper medical care to Eleanor Marie Kuzma.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Kuzma developed fecal impaction, a condition the defendants allegedly failed to prevent through proper supervision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Kelly A. Sabo and Kristen N. Koeller of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
