CHICAGO — A employee is suing Mohammed Saleh and All City Equipments Inc., citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.

Kenroy Reid filed a complaint on April 24 in the Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging that they failed to provide a reasonably safe workplace for the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, on April 28, 2015, he sustained serious physical injuries including the amputation of his left index finger while he was servicing a bulldozer. The plaintiff holds Saleh and All City Equipments responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to properly train and provide safety instructions to their employees, as the accident was caused when a co-worker turned on the engine while Reid was servicing it.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Charles J. Candiano of Candiano Law Office in Chicago.
