CHICAGO — A former salesman is suing Inspired eLearning, based in Texas, citing alleged violation of state law for refusing to pay him commission he claims he earned.
Tom Brne filed a complaint on April 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois alleging that the employer refused to pay commission it owed to the plaintiff for sales performance and terminated him in 2015 with no intention to pay him his remaining commission.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for owed commissions. He is represented by Kristin M. Case and Kate Sedey of The Case Law Firm LLC in Chicago.
