CHICAGO — A former nursing home patient's family member is suing Symphony Bronzeville Park, claiming insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.
Eula Johnson, an administrator for the estate of Vonette Johnson-Scott, filed a complaint on April 28 in Cook County Circuit Court against Symphony of Bronzeville alleging Johnson-Scott suffered a fall and developed pressure ulcers. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible because it allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision and assistance to the plaintiff while she was being treated in its facility.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Marc Weissman of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
