CHICAGO — An insurance company is suing Linda F. Moon f/k/a Linda G. Mocco, citing alleged breach of contract for accepting overpayments and not returning them.
John Hancock Life Insurance Company filed a complaint on April 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois alleging that the defendant accepted overpayments from the insurance company.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it was damaged financially from the defendant's acceptance of the accidental overpayments. The plaintiff holds Moon responsible because she allegedly failed to return the overpayments to the plaintiff.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $117,735.54 plus interest and any further relief as this court grants. It is represented by Julie F. Wall and Kaitlyn E. Luther of Chittenden, Murday & Novotny LLC in Chicago.
