CHICAGO — Two people are suing Dolar Koya M.D., citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.

Dennis Thezan and Carol Wolfe filed a complaint on May 5 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendant, a dermatologist in DuPage County, alleging the doctor failed to provide proper care to Thezan.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege Thezan sustained serious physical injuries when a skin lesion progressed to metastatic melanoma. The plaintiffs hold the defendant responsible because he allegedly failed to properly diagnose Thezan's condition and recognize the presence of the malignant melanoma.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. They are represented by William A. Cirignani of Cirignani Heller & Harman LLP in Chicago.
