Law money 03

CHICAGO — An employee has filed a class-action lawsuit against Diamand's Family Restaurant Inc., George Diamantopoulos, Jim Diamantopoulos and Panagiotis Diamantopoulos, citing alleged unpaid wages, violation of applicable minimum wage law and violation of Workers' Compensation acts.

Kimberly Powers filed a complaint on behalf of all other similarly situated persons on April 27 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois against the Joliet restaurant alleging it failed to pay fair wages to the plaintiff.

The plaintiff alleges Diamand's Family Restaurant and the defendant individuals failed to pay their hourly and tipped employees for all time worked.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all wages due, interest, injunction and any other relief as this court deems just. She is represented by Jamie G. Sypulski of the Law Office of Jamie Golden Sypulski in Chicago.
