Woman alleges injuries from fall at Starbucks location in The Fashion Outlet, Rosemont

Slip01

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Starbucks; an unknown employee; ABM Industries Incorporated; ABM Industry Groups LLC and related corporate entities; and Macerich Property Management Company, alleging liability and negligence.

Helen Bambulas filed a complaint on May 11 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging they failed to clean a liquid substance left on the floor by employees at a Starbucks in Rosemont, causing her to be injured when she fell.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to warn the plaintiff of the foreign liquid substance that was left on the floor in the Starbucks location in The Fashion Outlet mall.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court plus court costs. She is represented by Mark S. Schaffner of the Law Offices of Mark Schaffner P.C. in Chicago.
