Texas corporation accuses Trans Environmental Ltd. of breach of contract
CHICAGO — A Texas corporation is suing Trans Environmental Ltd., an Illinois corporation, citing alleged breach of contract.
Starr Indemnity & Liability Company filed a complaint on May 2, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois against Trans Environmental Ltd. alleging that the Illinois corporation claims that the defendant has an obligation to indemnify the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Starr Indemnity & Liability Company was damaged due to the claims of the defendant. The plaintiff holds Trans Environmental Ltd. responsible because the defendant allegedly sought defense and indemnity from the plaintiff despite having no obligation to defend or indemnify them.
The plaintiff seeks declare that the plaintiff has no obligation to defend or indemnify the defendant, court costs, interest and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by James J. Hickey and Theresa M. Carroll of Carroll McNulty & Kull, LLC in Chicago.
