CHICAGO — Two passengers are suing Iskender Asanov and Sphan Ride Inc., a licensed carrier of passengers in Illinois, alleging liability and negligence for a car accident that caused injuries.
Mai Nguyen and Khoa Phung filed a complaint on May 2 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois against the defendants alleging that defendant Asanov failed to properly control the vehicle they were in, causing it to collide with another car.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs, who were visiting Chicago from their home state of Texas, allege that, on May 3, 2015, they were physically injured when the vehicle they were riding in crashed into another car. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout while operating his vehicle.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek damages, interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by John Bruster Loyd of Jones, Gillaspia & Loyd L.L.P. in Houston.
