Medical malpractice 09

CHICAGO — A patient is suing Clark Manor Convalescent Center, Clark Manor CNV Center, J.S. Affiliates Ltd. and Alden Lakeland, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.

Robert Pomerlee filed a complaint on May 17 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging the nursing facility failed to provide proper medical care to him.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he suffered a fall and developed bedsores while in the defendants' care. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision to the plaintiff to address his risk of falls and developing pressure ulcers.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds $50,000. He is represented by Terrence E. Davey of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman in Chicago.
