CHICAGO — A mother is suing Advocate Health and Hospitals Corporation and Dr. Anita Arora M.D., alleging that she did not receive proper care during the birth of her child, leading to injuries to her daughter.
Angelica Bates, mother and representative of Emma Bates, filed a complaint on May 18 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care while she was giving birth.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Emma Bates sustained injuries during childbirth. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide the proper standard of care during Angelica Bates' labor.
