CHICAGO — A couple is suing Condell Medical Center and an unknown technician, claiming the defendants were negligent while attempting to draw blood.
Christine O'Malley and her husband, Danny Delgado, filed a complaint on May 8 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging they failed to provide proper medical care to O'Malley.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege O'Malley was injured when a needle inserted into her arm to draw blood hit a nerve instead.
The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. They are represented by Ehsan Eftekhari of Eftekhari Law Offices in Evanston.
