CHICAGO — A man is suing Ambrose & Associates P.C., a law firm, alleging breach of contract and negligence for failing to properly file a lawsuit on his behalf.
James Smith filed a complaint on May 17 in Cook County Circuit Court alleging the firm failed to properly represent the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Ambrose & Associates failed to file a medical malpractice suit against Gottlieb Memorial Hospital on his behalf before the statute of limitations expired.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Michael E. Holden of Romanucci & Blandin LLC in Chicago.
