Plaintiff claims son did not receive proper care at Evanston Hospital

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Advocate Christ Medical Center, Northshore Evanston Hospital, Keith Schaible M.D. and James Liu M.D., alleging negligence for the death of a family member.

Irene Thompson-Jones, the mother and special administrator of the estate of Clarence Jones Jr., filed a complaint on May 23 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging they failed to provide proper medical care to Jones.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Jones sustained serious physical injuries which contributed to the deterioration of his health. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by James Costello of Costello, McMahon, Burke & Murphy Ltd. in Chicago.
