Man alleges Symphony Crestwood was negligent, failed to prevent falls, bedsores

CHICAGO — A man is suing Symphony Crestwood LLC and Metrosouth Medical Center, alleging negligence for failing to prevent bedsores and falls which led to injury.

Curtis Livingston filed a complaint on May 25 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging they failed to provide proper care.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he experienced pain from having developed pressure ulcers and suffered falls while a resident at the facility. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision and assistance to the plaintiff during his time at the long-term care facility.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by David G. Pribyl of Dudley & Lake LLC in Libertyville.
