CHICAGO — A woman is suing Lexington Health Care Center of Orland Park Inc. d/b/a Lexington of Orland Park, and Royal Management Corporation, alleging negligence for allowing her relative, a former nursing home resident, to suffer injuries from a fall that led to his death.

Nancy Mader, as special administrator of the estate of Walter H. Mader, filed a complaint on May 23 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging they failed to provide proper care to Walter Mader.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Mader suffered fatal injuries from suffering a fall while left unattended. The plaintiff holds the nursing facility responsible because it allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision to Mader to address his risk of falling.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by James J. Morici Jr. and Christopher C. Cortese of Morici, Figlioli & Associates in Chicago.
