CHICAGO — Labor groups are suing J R Jones Fixture Co. for alleged breach of contract.
Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters Pension Fund, Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters Welfare Fund, Chicago and Northeast Illinois Regional Council of Carpenters Apprentice and Trainee Program and Labor/ Management Union Carpentry Cooperation Promotion Fund filed a complaint on May 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, alleging the defendant failed to remit its employees' contributions.
The plaintiffs seek pay all contribution owed to the plaintiff, interest, liquidated damages, court costs, auditor fees and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Kevin P. McJessy of McJessy, Ching & Thompson LLC in Chicago.
