CHICAGO — A woman who was recovering from pelvic surgery at Astoria Place Living & Rehab is suing the facility, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.
Diane Bergquist filed a complaint on June 19 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging they failed to provide proper care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she developed pressure sores because the defendants allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision to the plaintiff to prevent the sores.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Bryan J. O'Connor of O'Connor Law Group LLC in Chicago.
