CHICAGO — An individual is suing Excellence Construction & Millwork Co. U.S.A. and Roberto E. Corrales for alleged breach of contract.
Lea Lua filed a complaint on June 19 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to complete the project she paid them to do.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she paid $158,000 for uncompleted work. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly agreeing to remodel a residential, two-unit building in Chicago, but later abandoning the project.
The plaintiff seeks cost to repair the work, lost rental value, disgorgement, court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Lawrence M. Karlin of Karlin Associates LLC in Chicago.
