CHICAGO — Two men are suing Seven West Division Inc., which operates the Room 7 nightclub, and several bouncers, alleging battery as they stood on a public sidewalk.
Thomas J. Albright and Nick Bolda filed a complaint on June 21 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging they are liable for the infliction of pain and suffering.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege they were punched in the face and on the body and thrown to the ground. The plaintiffs hold Seven West Division Inc., which does business as Room 7; 5 West Division Corp., which does business as Primary Night Club; Anthony Soballe; Dennis Bown; and David Hanna responsible because the defendants allegedly allowed their employees to physically assault the plaintiffs.
The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendant in an amount sufficient to satisfy the jurisdictional limits of the court, court costs and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by James A. McCarron and Michael L. Teich of Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen Ltd in Chicago.
