CHICAGO — A deceased patient's family is suing Lincoln Park Family Physicians, Dr. John Tenhundfeld and a nurse, alleging insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.
Alasin Fraser Deveny, individually and as special administrator of the estate of Patrick K. Deveny, filed a complaint on June 22 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging they failed to provide proper medical care to Patrick L. Deveny.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Deveny experienced pain as the result of having sinus infection symptoms. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to treat the plaintiff's symptoms, causing the symptoms to get worse.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. He is represented by Stephanie K. Nathanson and Michael T. Peterson of Law Offices of Stephanie K. Nathanson in Chicago.
