CHICAGO — A guest is suing Cubby Bear Lounge Ltd., which does business as the Cubby Bear Chicago, alleging he was roughed up and thrown to the ground by security personnel at the restaurant.
Edgar Camarillo filed a complaint on June 22 in Cook County Circuit Court against Cubby Bear Lounge, alleging the Illinois corporation failed to keep its establishment reasonably safe for the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges the defendant allegedly allowed employees to grab and forcefully knock the plaintiff to the ground.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of the court plus court costs. He is represented by Christopher C. Cortese of Morici, Figlioli & Associates in Chicago.
